  1. Very excited to work with Spriter Pro. Fresh download and all and for some reason, all the icons, tools, etc. are extremely tiny to the point where I can barely use some of them (ie. setting anchors on a body part). Anyone have this issue and a fix? Please tell me it's a stupid mistake on my end! I'm using the 15.6inch HP Spectre.
  2. Hi, I'm afraid I just found a little bug, while exporting an animation, my mouse was on a bone and accidentally it appeared in some frames of my animation.
  3. I'm having a real hard time with spriter, I setup my animations for export as spritesheets as below, it performs the export operation, but does not save the file. Some export, some do not on repeat and no error or notice of this is given. I've restarted the program, changed the frame rate, the export size everything and I don't know WHY it isn't exporting. Please help.

  5. hi there i create animations with spriter 2d and its well in software but it breaks down when i import it to unity(with Spriter2UnityDX) . difference position and rotation at the same frames !!!! i tried all variety of curve options (flat . auto , etc ) but it dont fixed

  7. Hi Everyone, This will evolve into an official "troubleshooting list" which I'll update with the most frequently reported issues and their solutions. If you do not find the solution to a problem you're facing with Spriter in this list, please report it in this thread. Thanks. 1) Spriter refuses to open! (Windows) Please install the Visual Studio 2013 C++ runtime. If you are on 32 bit Windows you only need the 32 bit version (x86). If you are on 64 bit Windows, you will need to install both the 32 bit (_x86) and 64 bit versions. http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/5/6/056dcda9-d667-4e27-8001-8a0c6971d6b1/vcredist_x64.exe The 32 bit version can be found here:http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/5/6/056dcda9-d667-4e27-8001-8a0c6971d6b1/vcredist_x86.exe IMPORTANT: If you try to install Visual Studio 2013 and the installer says you already have a newer version, then you need to uninstall the newer version so that 2013 can successfully install. Windows update will later install the latest version, but you'll keep the DLL Files Spriter needed. 2) When I re-open my Spriter project, some or all images are missing! Don't forget, Spriter files are only text files that store coordinates, angles etc, and only make reference to the image files that are being used. This means if you move the image files to a new location (or delete or rename them) OR move the Spriter file to a new location separate from where the images were, the Spriter file will no longer be able to find the images that it needs. For this reason, when starting a new Spriter project, always create a folder just for that project, put all the images you'll be needing in that folder (organized in sub-folders as needed) and then create your Spriter project/file into that project folder you've just created. 3) When I start Spriter, there are graphical glitches or a black canvas area and I can't drag my images to the canvas. There is a known graphic-driver compatibility issue that especially effects some Macs that causes these types of problems. Try choosing View/Disable Open GL from Spriter's menu and then restarting Spriter. This will hopefully resolve the problem. We'll continue to try to improve performance and compatibility issues with future free update builds. 4) When I try to export a finished animation as PNG images, GIF etc. Spriter hangs up or crashes. This sort of problem can be caused by a couple of different reasons: Spriter might be running out of memory during the export process.. This limit will depend greatly on your hardware's own specs, but trying to reduce the scale of your project, the desired FPS or changing the cropping of your animation to a smaller custom rectangle might resolve the issue. A French Spriter user recently discovered that having Spriter installed in a folder that uses non English characters such as "ç" or "è", or having your Spriter project folder of image sub folder names etc including such characters was the cause of crashes they were experiencing while trying to export his animations.
  8. Hi, I'm having a hard time with spriter that have quite a few bugs. And not the simplest ones. As I already know spriter doesn't export large canvas spritesheet. So i'm doing on -1100 -1100 1100 300 square size where all animations goes, for future unity export. However, recently I experienced rather an annoying bug that doesn't export the full animation on 24fps. I tried everything, smaller canvas size, keyframes only, moved the keyframes in the timeline. well nothing works, the last animation doesnt load into my spritesheet, anyone know how to get around this one ? thank you
  9. Whenever I try to pull up my project file, spriter refuses to open it. I got it working once before, so I can garuntee it's not just an issue with my own stupidity. I am also able to pull up the files outside spriter.
  10. Hi I was creating a running animation, working fine for the legs. But then I started to work on the arms and when I moved them and run the animation. They seem to move just only one frame, looking them offset on the frame I changed and not smoothing toward their initial position. What actually happenned to do that? Thank you

Me preguntaba como hacer para repararlo; ya sonda des-Instalando Todo Lo relacionado CON Visual C ++, Dirext 11 y Hasta formatee la Pc. Aún Así todavia da error el FKN.

Hello,i'm new to this forum but i subscribed because i have a big problem and i really don't know how to resolve it, I Was using spriter 11,and i finished to create all my animations but when i exported the images i saw a really strange thing infact the stand animation (that has 1 frame) was good,but the walking animation after the exporting process was a sort of resized, i don't know how to explain but the head is strangely stretched and the result is very ugly, what i can do?I tried older version of spriter but i always have the same problem. I will attach an image so u can better understand the weird problem :
  13. I am reporting this in help because I don't know if it is a bug in fact but it seems and feels like one. I sincereley hope not because I would rather not lose 8 hours of work. I am making an animation for Don't Starve Together that is 30 keyframes set to play over 16000ms on a loop. I am using the Spriter version that comes as part of their modding tools. It is a fountain. here it is as a crude gif / wip / concept form (ignore the aliasing on the gif please it looks much better in game and Spriter): So my issue is when I load the animation into my local mod to test it plays but each frame prior to the next remains on screen as a sort of artifact? I don't know how else to describe it, they wind up accumulating and layering and that's not at all the intended behavior. I wind up with a jumbled mess of water layered on top of each other in the fountain element and the basin. I don't know if this is a bug or user error but I pray to god its user error. I can supply the animation via zip if needed, and I will happily answer questions. Please help!

  15. Hello. I have a problem when I try to buy the software. I tried to purchase it twice and I got: "Not Found" error saying: "It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?" What's going on here?
  16. I am having a problem parenting an object that I copied. For example, I can place a point on the first frame of an animation. If I copy the point to all frames and then parent it to a bone in the first frame, the point will be moved to a strange location in the following frames (see attached picture). In my example I parent the point to the chest of the character in the walk_forward animation. The point is moved to under the character in the second keyframe (and all following frames). If I parent the point to the bone, and then copy it to all frames, the result is normal.
  17. Hello! Recently my old windows 7 laptop broke and I got a new windows 10 computer. I installed steam and Spriter, but upon trying to open Spriter, nothing happens. Well, the program doesn't open, but for about a second Steam shows "Running" beside the program name, before becoming blank again. Any help would be appreciated! I have a Windows 10 64 bit operation system, x64 based processor if it's important. Thanks!
  18. Black boxes keep appearing in the animation area ins tead of my png files, i was wondering if this has to do with some limitation I don't know about or if its a bug, i have the pro version.
  19. I can't use scaleX or other tools in the object properties because it looks like this: http://gyazo.com/46c23ec2208ffd19c58637c758b8bd3e Is this a known bug? How can I fix this? I just got the software and it's a bit frustrating not being able to use it even just to follow the tutorials.

  21. Perhaps I should save some time and start with this question that I can't find the answer for, does Spriter require a dedicated graphics card? If it does, I suppose I'm just out of luck, but if it doesn't, I still have no idea how to fix this. Every time I load Spriter it crashes. I've bought the steam pro version and tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and I've tried downloading the free version, but it just crashes everytime at this screen. I've downloaded and updated the Visual Studio Runtimes to no avail. Is there anything else I should try and how can I give you guys more information about my crashes?
  22. Spriter 6.1, Win7x64 Coming from using GIMP where you hold various modifier keys while dragging handles for various effects (actually, Spriter has this too...) I several times had Spriter crash on me when I would go to shift-drag or ctrl-drag the handle on a sprite and that was Just The Wrong Thing To Do Just Then.

  24. R6_1(64) (Free) doesn't run in Kubuntu 15.04 Two kind of errors, one easily fixable, but the other not: 1) Permissions. The downloaded Spriter_free.tar.gz package has several libraries (lib*.so and lib*.so.*) with wrong permissions. While the majority of them have permissions 755 (correct), some like libsteam_api.so among others, have permissions 600 (i.e., only rw for owner and nothing for others) or 664 or even 664. If we unpack Spriter_free.tar.gz in our $HOME directory and then copy the resulting directory to e.g. /opt/, then when we run Sprite like so: /opt/SpriterR6_1(64)/Sprite the permissions problem will generate the error: error while loading shared libraries: libsteam_api.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The "missing" file is not missing, it's there in the same directory as Sprite executable, but it has wrong permissions. This issue can be fixed easily if we change permissions in the $HOME/SpriterR6_1(64) directory (so, preferable before copying to any other path like /opt/) like this (assuming we are in $HOME): chmod 755 SpriterR6_1\(64\)/*.so chmod 755 SpriterR6_1\(64\)/*.so.* This solves the first error. BUT: 2) Incompatible library. When we launch Spriter -with its permissions fixed per above- from either a subdirectory of $HOME or e.g. from a subdirectory in /opt/, we get a different error: Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x50401) with this library (version 0x50501) Aborted (core dumped) This error is more complicated. What Qt library?
