  1. So, it has been a while since I posted something hasn't it? I have been pretty busy with stuff, some of them I cant show yet but I have done some stuff for smaller projects: And I tried my hand at the FFD function of Spriter too: I really hope it gets ready soon! Right now it is pretty fiddly and buggy some times.
  2. Are you saying you want to copy your animations for the left hand?
  3. I would move the upper body too, and maybe legs a bit
  4. I saw Edgar using an option called constraint curve in this video at 4:00: But I don`t have that in my version of Spriter!
  5. Nice, move the left arm higher, like how you did it with the right arm.
  6. Wow that looks nice! A few points: -On the idle animation, the left leg moves a bit weird when his upper part of the leg move and not his foot. Also, if you want that bending do the same for the right leg. -For running I would move the legs a bit higher when they go back.
  7. Hey Mike, I tried it yesterday and I did not encounter the problem anymore! So I guess it fixed it self or I was just seeing things :D. Anyway, thanks for the answer. I will come back if the same thing happens again.
  8. So you don`t want to use another program and expect one software to do everything for you? You are in a wrong line of work buddy. And all I want is a program that I click a button and my animation are made as best as possible. I don`t understand what you are complaining about, how do you expect the program to fit everything in a 64x64 box?! Why don`t you use a sprite that actually fits into that box? It does, it always saves the last export options you have used. ahhhh, kids these days...
  9. No not really, I am just using my regular mouse. This happens only on one sprite I am working with, the other ones work just fine. I will try it out on another computer to see what happens. If it persists I can give you the project file to check.
  10. In this project I am working on, every time I try to use the IK menu I have a partial hang up...it is really weird, it looks like the mouse button stops working even in windows (i can only use keyboard). This stays until I try to force spriter to close using alt+cntrl+del. It is really weird!!
  11. Why does Spriter put numbers at the end of the bone sometimes? I have no other bones with that name.
  12. Did you enable the pixel art mode? Also, it could help if you would post a picture with an example.
  13. Awesome, it already looks much better. Now it just some tweaking here and there. Maybe the left legs should be put more forward and so on. But overall, I think you got i!
  14. Awesome, much better. Now add the whole body going up and down, it will make it much better. BTW, Mike has done a pretty good tutorial for walking animation, I recommend checking it out:
  15. Are you using Spriter for these or Spine? Because these look like they using the weight and meshes from Spine.
  16. These look awesome, nice job. How did you do the tongue?
  17. This is extemely difficult and almost impossible with the current version of Spriter. Unless we have the image warping feature, the only option you have is dividing the tentacles into much smaller pieces and animating them like that.
  18. Just two new animations I did. First a new jumping: And as for the crawler enemy, I had to make it from scratch since for the animation I wanted, the body needed to be two parts. So I did everything from scratch, and changed the clothes color while I was at it.
  19. I want to make some part of the animation longer which has 5 keyframes but I don`t want to change the whole timeline. Is there any way of doing that?
  20. -Being able to choose colors for the bones. It really helps in case of for example hands and legs which are behind the main body.
  21. I hope it is ok to post, but I used Spineboy`s character part to practice my basic animation poses (they look a bit choppy since I used GifCam to make the GIFs). What I found out is that the way your animation looks depends highly on the quality of the sprites, I think! I did the same using some other rough made sprites: And they look not that good. (That head bob while running, I did it one purpose, I wanted some goofy looking run animation). I will soon add a new animation to that my "crawling enemy", should be fun :-P
  22. Awesome, thanks. I ALWAYS forget to set the pivot points :-P . By the way, it could be very helpful if you could do a video or provide some tips on the optimum pivot points for different joints, I especially get confused when the part is the "middle part", for example the middle part of the leg.
  23. So I tried using character map for the fist time today, and this is what happened: and this is the original: For some reason the parts belonging to the upper part of the body are not placed in the correct place...
