khofez
How do I export animations using the skin experimental feature? Everytime I try to export the animation, the exported sprite sheet never contains the skin object that I put on the animation
Mike at BrashMonkey
Hi, khofez, Hopefully @bwwd will see this thread and be able to help. He uses skin mode to fantastic effect, so know's his way around it and its bugs better than I do. I'm pretty certain he uses export to GIF with skin all the time. Have you tried exporting as sequential images I'm hoping that will work too. cheers. -Mike at BrashMonkey
bwwd
Dont use skin and regular sprites together in one animation, if youre using skin then use it even for simplest elements of your animation, or else some stuff wont be visible. khofez
ok thanks ! and can i use pixel art as skin sprites ? cause when i tried it doesnt apply the pixel art mode, its all blurry
Mike at BrashMonkey
If you want the end result to be pixel art, I recommend you work larger than needed...like 2x or 4x and then use a batch process in a graphics program to reduce size and convert to indexed color mode... hand clean-up will almost certainly be necessary. khofez
sorry i didnt meant the "end result", i meant if i use an image that is already a pixel art, not another style and then convert it to pixel art, cause everytime i try to use the skin on the pixel art images, i get this "smooth" filter even if im using the pixel art mode on spriter (i attached a screenshot)
Mike at BrashMonkey
If you turned off smooth sampling in Spriter and it still looks that way there's likely nothing you can do about it.
