soloDev
Hello ! I have downloaded yesterday a linux version of SpriterB2 . But when I try to run it on Ubuntu 12.04 it doesn't lunch and I receive this: The OS I'm running is clean and up to date. Any thoughts why this is not running ? Thanks! soloDev
Hi lucid, it's a 32 bit version of ubuntu 12.04, I've tried to run spriter on Linux Mint 32 bit but almost the same problem occurs, it's annoying because spriter is a really good program to have on my linux system :/
lucid
hey soloDev, I will work on compatibility issues on the way to 1.0, and I'll make it a point to try to do it sooner rather than later. Just keep in mind we're behind schedule as it is, but I'll attempt to expand the build in the upcoming versions, and download a 32 bit distro to test on. Thanks for your patience. miky_kr5
If it helps, I have also experienced this problem. When I run Spriter normally I just get a bash: ./Spriter: cannot execute binary file message. Running as sudo gives the following message ./Spriter: 1: ./Spriter: Syntax error: "(" unexpected . HobekaStoo
I have the same problem too with Linux. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15257 When I get a moment I shall try and run previous versions to see which one fails as something has changed on the Linux builds to stop it from working.
