lucid
Hi everyone, First off, we'd like to apologize for missing our roughly every two week update by a long stretch. Thank you very much for your patience. We're working very hard on this update, and we think it will be well worth the wait. We've been expecting to release within the next day or two for over a week now, so we don't want to make the mistake of promising a specific day for the next release, but it will be soon, and there's alot to look forward to. In a4, Spriter is much more fleshed out. All the buttons that are disabled on your screen in a3 are enabled now. Full Undo/Redo support including an interactive history list. Timeline gets a facelift, takes up less vertical space, has a ruler, zooming and more: And the biggest reason for the delay is skeletal hierarchy. Spriter a4 will have bone support with 2 joint IK. The extra wait is mostly to make bones easier, more useful, and more powerful. There are some pretty unique things possible with Spriter's bone features that you wouldn't normally expect to be able to do with 2d bone animation. We'll elaborate on that later, with video, which will describe it much more adequately than words alone. This will be a huge update. Bones and undo were two of the larger chunks left on the way to 1.0, so things are moving along nicely. Stay tuned, and thanks again for your patience. crazysam
Undo / Redo is HUGE. This will go a long way to make this program usable. Great job guys, keep it up :)
benotter
Awesome. Is there any chance that rendering tweens to PNG will work in a4?
