  5. This build introduces a number of quality of life improvements that improve the feel of editing meshes and deformers. Behind the scenes these a lot of work was done that will be used for some more substantial features over the next few builds. A lot of work went into getting bones ready for primetime as well, though this is all on the backend and won't result in anything noticeable just yet. Edgar just posted this update today: https://www.construct.net/en/forum/construct-3/general-discussion-7/spriter-c3-addon-9-8-2020-bug-130240/page-24#forumPost1025200 regardless of the fact it should soon be very simple, you currently can replace the scon file directly in C3 by deleting from the files folder in the project explorer and re-import it, however, if you've added new images then it get's more complicated... If it's in the draw self mode and only uses one texture image for all the body part images, then you can just edit the Spriter object
  9. I asked this over on the Construct 3 forum but thought I might get a better answer here. I have a Spriter object with multiple character maps. These maps are meant to be purchasable skins. I have a starting set but plan on adding more after the game is released. What I would like to know is, what is the correct way to update the Spriter object each time I add a new character map? I have found a way to update the project but it requires opening the project file in zip software. Finding the folder that contains all the images. Adding the new images to the archive renamed to match

  12. The UI is still very much WIP. We will continue improving every aspect of Spriter 2 as it develops, especially as we continue to get feedback from users.
  13. @SquigglyFrog @BlooberryPi3 I'm not sure if this is still relevant for you, but I was able to fix both of those bugs (flickering pointer/hourglass when prefab is selected and import not working at all in later unity versions).     Spriter 2 FAQ

    How about add on FAQ questions, "Can I test Spriter 2 alpha version?" or something like that. Interested to test, but took while before I find how manage that. Looking good so far!

  21. I've been able to reproduce the bug. I never ran into this before... maybe a windows update along the way broke this. There is a decent work-around. I discovered that if you select another animation and go back to that animation you'll be able to rename things in the z-order bar again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  22. Hi Oh, sorry. Using Windows 10. And Spriter release 11. When i got that issue, I rename object in Z-order with F2, and press enter. Then it goes to "Alt + Click", and that change then with arrows. And then can't rename any other object, even with right mouse click. I tested with my desktop and laptop computers.
  23. Still an issue in 2020 with new systems on Win10 64. Had problems with the steam version on a 64bit lenovo yogabook, the one with integrated bamboo pad. I received no error, was launching and than closing immediately. It worked only after I installed the 32b version of VS C++ 2013 even though the system is 64.( the link is above, in a comment from Mike )
  24. There are lot of other funding and etc option to make things easier. Marketing and funding have changed lot since the time you guys released spriter. I am just mentioning these so we get spriter 2 soon enough to be able to use it. Good luck. BTW, I was wondering if the complete overhaul of UI does not work in user favour what you guys going to do? Reminds of my professor saying: "always design things for user not for yourself" .
  25. Thanks very much for reporting this. Please always let us know what OS you're using Spriter on when reporting bugs or other problems. In the meantime I will see if I can reproduce this issue on my Windows installed version. cheers.
