IK is not applied at all during playback as far as I understand. Can you be more descriptive of exactly whats happening?

When you mention entities, are you referring to sub-entities in one animation or are you referring to bones as entities?

You answered my question. I was assuming that IK is applied to the animation during playback so I was confused that it would stay on when I switched through my different animations.
