Hello,

I've just found Spriter and I really loved it. It's the software we were expecting for a long time!

I've played with it a little and tried to export some key-frames as PNG images via the File menu. Great feature, since using the SCML or animation info is not suited for everyone. Sometimes we just need a sequence of images.

But I could not find how to re-size/zoom the exporting window. I can drag the "scene" on this window, but cannot change the size or position of the exported images. So, after all, my exported images are always cropped. For example, if I have a character running, the exported images will crop it at the "bellybutton" and contain only its legs.

I also found the the rotated images are very blurred, but I believe another user already commented on it.

By the way, do you have any roadmap for Spriter?

Hi alex, welcome to Spriter. :)

There will definately be many additions to the image export feature on the way to Spriter 1.0. This includes exporting to diferent amounts of zoom, ad well as exporting larger than screen sized animations at full size... I can't guarantee how soon, but definately before the official release of 1.0 which should be sometime Q1 of this year.

We don't have an official roadmap, the closest thing might be the feature list at http://www.brashmonkey.com/spriter%20features.htm

But keep in mind that list might be incomplete, and is just for the release of Spriter Pro 1.0 We have big plans for additional features after 1.0 is released.

cheers,

Mike at BrashMonkey
