Mellthorn Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 Hello, I want to use Spriter for my graphics and i will use it with Starling framework. I already saw that you have a Starling release. But my main question is, which is critical for my artwork (due to performance) i want to use a single Texture Atlas. Am i able to work with a Texture Atlas ? And are there any limitations ? Quote
lucid Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 currently, there is no direct support for texture atlases, but we are working with Code N Web to get Texture Packer integration in a future release. In the meantime, more than one developer has told us that they've gotten around the texture atlas limitation simply by making their implementation retrieve the files from an atlas instead of the file system without having to alter the save file at all. Mellthorn Posted August 18, 2012 Author Report Posted August 18, 2012 Thank you so much for your answer. I'm much of a cartoonist rather than a programmer and i must say it's a lot of fun even just to play around with the software ^^ So if i can get it work too. Or atleast i'll wait for the Texture Packer integration. This tool will help me a hell lot. Quote
