Dicon
So far Spriter looks VERY useful and I am still learning my way around it. I would like to suggest an animated gif export for the animations as Game Maker uses the "strip" method. Other than that, only a "set size of bounding box in pixels" would help keep the animated object the right size for the tiles in a game and across several sets. Thanks, I will use it as it progresses Dicon
Mike at BrashMonkey
Spriters actual optimized data format will someday be supported in GameMaker, so primitive and ineffieciet methods like full frame sprite strips for animations wont be necessary. Until that time, hopefully theres a free program out there that will automatically convert sequential images into a sprite strip. I just "Googled" it and this sounds pretty nifty for your needs: http://www.texturepacker.com/ cheers, Mike@Brashmonkey
Dicon
Just loaded it and will try it out later. That Game Maker will be able to use your format sounds excellent. Hopefuly soon it will be implimented. ( Ack.. Yoda speak ) Dicon
