trexrell44
Hey, guys I love this program, I just have one question about something that I had no intention on doing until I used this program. The game I am working on uses pixel art and this program does a really great job animating it. I happen to have switched one of my animations to the smooth sampling and the animation looks so smooth I am willing to convert all my battler sprites into this style. The only thing is that the first frame does not save in this style. Is there a way this program can save the entire pixel animation to smooth sampling from beginning to end even if its a single image? Mike at BrashMonkey
Hi trexrell44, My best guess is the first image is not being resampled because its not being even slightly rotated or scaled. Maybe you could trick Spriter into resampling it by using the properties editor to change its scale to something like 1.0001 just enough to force it to be resampled, without actually changing its scale to the human eye. I've not tried this though, so its just a guess. If it doesn't work, please email me your Spriter project so I can try other things to mike@brashMonkey.com. Of course I wont share your files with anyone. Cheers,Mike at BrashMonkey
trexrell44
Awesome this worked out really well. I love this program, the animations comes out really smooth and with the pixel work there is a small amount of cleanup that is actually need on the sprites. We may convert all our animations into this more smooth version, It requires little to no clean up and it works with our backgrounds.
