When i copy the files on my mac and open them, just the program (Spriter) opens, but nothing is shown up! Can you help me to transfer these files to mac that the animation is shown in the program window. I tried both Data Types that are given by the Program (Spriter). Mike at BrashMonkey Posted April 8, 2014 Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 Spriter files are basically just text files with coordinates and transform data for the images you use...you must copy over the enthre folder of images AND the spriter file, and keep them in the same exact hierarchy set-up...as in: main folder with the scml or scon files AND subfolders with all the images they use. cheers, Mike at BrashMonkey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Animator97 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 11, 2014 Ok thanks for your answer. I checked all things and i handled it to open. But it had nothing to do with the Copy from Windows it s basically for all Spriter files that i make. Also when i create a new one. I d make sure that all is right installed. (I reinstalled it) (It s new MacBook Pro Retina late 2013 i am running) I first ran Spriter on my Windows Machine (There i had no problems at all) First Question: Is it right to place the Spriter (for example .scom) file in the folder where the pictures are? So i have these problems when i want to open a new project (each step) -I run Spriter -I click NEW PROJECT and choose the folders with the images (-Then it shows black screen where i should place the BodyParts?! But it shows the pictures on the right and the Z-Order) -Then i save the project in the same folder where the pictures are. -When i close Spriter and go to that folder with the file and i click the scom file i just made. It just opens Spriter but nothing happens. -So i click OPEN PROJECT and choose the scam file (-Then it shows black screen where i should place the BodyParts?! But it shows the pictures on the right and the Z-Order) -So i have to close Spriter again and open it to choose Open resent projects (-Then it s all normal) -The other problem is that OS X says "Spriter wurde unerwartet beendet" each time after quitting.
