deviantdigi
Hello, I stumbled across this editing tool today, and it just blew me away at first. This was an instant hit for me when it comes to my animation needs. But sadly, I instantly ran into a project corrupting, program crashing, bug. I can import images to the "work area". But after a few minutes, I can no further import any images like I previously did. The now bugged imported image is named oddly, and the image coordinates(x,y) are crazy numbers. Obviously, the image is not shown in the work area and not recoverable by adjusting the coordinates manually. Actually if I attempt to, the program goes unresponsive. The error is easily the reoccurring type, or at least in my experience. I tried saving my work before this error occurs. But upon reopening the project, the same bug described above is present. The image below of the reopened project, notice the coordinates. There was a leprechaun standing there before saving. I've attached the image files I used in the attachments. lucid
@deviantdigi, I downloaded and extracted the rar, and moved some images to the canvas, and moved them around, and made them animate on two separate animations, and saved, and loaded with no problem. I'll add something to the program to make this more obvious, but the scml file should be saved (and loaded from) the same folder that you selected when starting a new project. I think this may have been at least part of the problem. In the screenshot above, it shows an empty file palette, as if the scml was loaded from a different location than where the images are located. The images are kept separate from the save file, so they are required at load time to recreate the animation. Please let me know if this solves anything, and if not, please send me the scml file, so I can try to troubleshoot. thanks
deviantdigi
Thank you very much for tip with the .scml file placement lucid. I've moved that file and since then, I have not had any issues. [knock on wood]. Adding, I can actually resume an animation lol. At this point, my Spriter files and directories aren't what they were when the "bugs" occurred. I deleted the save. If the crash occurs again, I will stop and take note of where everything is that pertains to the current project and post it here. Thanks again, deviantdigi
