question Spriter Built-in paint tool / editor?
Itameio posted a topic in Help and TutorialsDoes spriter has a built in editor? a paint tool which i did not notice?, i find it bothersome that i have to draw the parts for my sprite in an external editor, export then import them to spriter, and since i'm a new user, i thought maybe i'm missing something?. . . can one create his sprites inside the program itself then animate them?, or is the only way by importing them?, if so, then can you suggest a fast process of doing that?, what process do you go through personally?, what steps do you go through to make your final animated sprite?.
Spriter Pro QuestionsHi, I just bought spriter pro. I'm planning to use it to make cartoon animation. Could anyone provide tips and tricks especially on complicated scenes that would usually require frame by frame animation?
Clear guidelines hotkey?
hippyman posted a topic in Help and TutorialsI'm currently working on a project where I use the guidelines a lot to line up bone lengths and angles when creating skeletons. As well as lining up animations. But I've gotten to the point where when I duplicate an animation it carries over the guidelines also. Then when I need to put guidelines down for lining up animations I have to manually remove guidelines one-by-one and results in constant tedious clicking and dragging. I can't seem to find a way to clear all guidelines quickly so I was hoping there either is a way to do it and I just couldn't find it or at the very least you might consider adding it into a future release. It would be pretty easy to implement I think.
How to add bones to existing animation?
Thibooms posted a topic in Help and TutorialsSay you have existing animation, but it's all sprite animated, no bones used. How to add bones for controlling that existing animation? The reason I am asking is that I want to copy/paste limbs, but in the tutorials I have seen you have to attach the limb sprites to bones (and then copy/paste to all frames) Edit: While I'm at it, how do you copy the animation from different entities over to other entities? I want to attach an arm from one entity to another (note: they use different sprites). I already have the different entities with their own animations in one same spriter project Thanks in advance
Spriter Keeps Crashing on StartupPerhaps I should save some time and start with this question that I can't find the answer for, does Spriter require a dedicated graphics card? If it does, I suppose I'm just out of luck, but if it doesn't, I still have no idea how to fix this. Every time I load Spriter it crashes. I've bought the steam pro version and tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and I've tried downloading the free version, but it just crashes everytime at this screen. I've downloaded and updated the Visual Studio Runtimes to no avail. Is there anything else I should try and how can I give you guys more information about my crashes?
question Export animation frames/low pixel animation
Alex12345 posted a topic in Help and TutorialsSo i looked into this programm and it looked like its the programm i was always looking for. I have a few questions tho. I do much 2d design and someday want to create my own game. Atm i am creating a mod for a game called starbound. The game uses framegrids to create ingame movement of monster and humans. So now i want to create a monster, i created the single parts and now i want to animate it. But is ist possible to export the single frames of the whole picture so i can put it into a framegrid for the game to use? Another question is that this game doesnt use many pixels and when i tried to rotate stuff in paint.net or photoshop it looked kinda bad. Does this programm support low pixel animation? or do i still have to use normal drawing for the realy low pixel animation? Sorry for my bad english
