  1. sorry to be a bother, but any update on the new build?
  2. It will be frequent enough. Here is the scenario: This game will be on mobile platforms and we want to add, change and/or remove some content weekly or bi-weekly. If we have to have all the art work in the spriter file then we are going to need to submit a new version to the ios app store and android marketplace every time we want to add or remove content. This is not only inconvenient because of the varying lengths of the approval process, but also in that we can not guarantee that all users will get the latest version.
  3. Is there a way to have the character map call an image (specifically in this case, a weapon) that is not in the root folder? Say from a live web server? The thought is that the game is online and we will be releasing new weapons all the time and ideally would like to not have to update the spriter file each time.
  4. Is it possible to replace an image that spriter is using with one from a server? To clarify and give some background; i am building a game were you have a team of ninjas and battle other peoples teams. Each ninja will have its own xp level (which is displayed by the color of their belt) and will be equipped with a weapon that the user has purchased and specifically assigned it to that ninja. So i am looking to be able to replace that artwork for the belt and the weapon dynamically while sill keeping it assigned to the corresponding bone in the animations. Is this possible?
  5. after getting my new character laid out and animating an idle, walking and jumping state, i decided to make future motions easier by restructuring the png files in to folders inside of the root folder, modeling it after what i saw in the file palette in your videos. (example, heads are now inside a "heads" folder and sames for legs, arms and so on) I left spriter open while i was moving the images and likewise saw them move into the folders in the file palette. After moving the files into folders i then animated a neat 3 hit combo that i am rather proud of, and so i saved and closed out the program. The following day opened it to see that my idle and jumping animations were only showing the bones with none of the png images. The walking and attacking animations had some but not all of the images, but even some of the ones that where there were not responding to their parent bone, causing some semi frantic motions. I was trying to adjust it to fix it, but it would move a different image that had no relation to the bone and/or png i was trying to move. I am wondering / hoping / praying to the brash monkey gods that there is a way to recover the images in to my animations as i invested a good amount of time and would hate to have to start all over. Please help
