  1. Are there plans to support preferences? For example, we use pivot points that are center based, not upper left. I'm fine with the normalized coordinates being 0.5, 0.5 for this. But it is tedious having to modify every sprite I put to have this center point. There no doubt are other preferences which would be handy for people. Also, any thought to having a single sheet the represents the current object selected versus having the expanding arrow on the Object in Frame? That doesn't scroll right on the Mac, but it also seems that it would be more convenient, especially once you have more sprites in a frame. 3D programs and Flash do this. Is there support of creating a sprite library that can be used in the animations. For example, say I has sprites which represented the face (eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth) of the character which I would apply to the face shape. This basically ends up creating a sprite hierarchy. Thanks!
  2. So I've been trying to use Spriter today. Both the beta and A4.1. I'm on a rMBP running OSX 10.8.3. Not sure if other people on Macs are running into the same problem, but the builds are incredibly unstable. Beta is actually a bit unusable based on the features that got removed (is. object information). On A4, it crashes consistently after a few minutes. Particularly when trying to make changes to the object info in Objects IN Frame. The scrolling of the object info doesn't work right and when you have too many sprites, you can't enter in any more information since the entry fields cannot be scrolled on screen. And of course the crashes. I added this on the bug report system. My apologies as I do realize this is an Alpha and I don't want to sound too negative. I'm hoping this app becomes an ultra usable tool. But before I commit the time to build an exporter, I want to make sure it will have a usable workflow. This is hard to determine when I can't get beyond building a character.
  3. Not sure if anyone else has run into this. I try and search forums to see if the questions have already been posted. But the search here isn't stellar in that the requirements make it hard to find things. For example, the app crashes quite a bit for me on the Mac. So I wanted to search for "mac crash" But I can't search this based on the criteria. So in many cases, search becomes a weakened feature on this forum.
  4. Sorry for the delay. That worked. I also installed the beta (Spriter not SpriterGL). Thanks. Will be fooling around with this now. But probably have to first get a converter working so I can use some of the data as well (I have a custom renderer).
  5. Hello, I am running a rMBP which is using Mountain Lion. The OS is up to date. I just downloaded the A4 build, installed, and tried to launch Spriter. It does not launch. I've tried launching a few times, but to no avail. I also checked Activity Monitor, but it is not listed. Any thoughts as to why this is not running? Thanks.
