I have been a long term owner of Spriter Pro which I purchased through Steam.  From some of the threads around here it sounds like I should be able to access the new beta through Steam, but Steam apparently requires a beta code?  How do I get this?

Mike, is there a timeline for the early beta? And how will Steam purchasers, such as myself, get access to the beta?

What is the skin mode?  Is there information somewhere so I can try to see if it gives me the results I need?  I really don't want to dish out $300 for Spine and this is the one feature I'm desperately in need of that is still missing.
