mordref
When? Everybody wants to know. I'm not asking about month. Just an information about is it going to be one more year or five. Do You developers know how long is it going to take? Because this skin mode just doesn't work ;).
Mike at BrashMonkey
Far less than 5 years, far more than a few months. That's the best we can say. Sorry. When the time comes we'll start showing previews and then eventually private and then public beta testing. but even the preview thing is still quite a long time from now. blurymind

What about SCML documentation? There must be lot of new things. Interesting to update my Objective-C implementation to support next gen Spriter. Interesting to update my Objective-C implementation to support next gen Spriter. Spriter 2 uses a completely different data format. It's not replacing Spriter Pro, its a new and different product geared specifically for advanced animations with mesh-deforming and other advanced features. It will not render Spriter Pro obsolete, especially for games that don't need mesh deform, retro/pixel art games, or games targeted to more humble platforms like mobile, where performance is a higher priority than mesh deforming animations.
