Sub Entity Bone Control

Good day, I am using the Steam version of Spriter Pro. And I am having trouble implementing the bone animations via the sub entities as demonstrated at 2:18 in the video below. When I do place the sub entity within the animation no bones are present. I am able to manipulate the animation with the slider but I can't use the bones to dynamically change the animation as I bend them. Was this feature disable or does it require a plugin?
