TheLiquidToast
I've been working on a mod for Don't Starve using the "Dleowolf Extended character mod" There is an SCML file that I was able to open before with Spriter but now when I try to, it doesn't open. I tried changing the "open with" file with Spriter but it never appears as an available application to use. it's quite annoying and it will really slow down my work with the mod. Can anyone help? Mike at BrashMonkey
Does it work if you load it from Spriter's menu? Are you using the special version of Spriter that was distributed with Don't starve specifically for the modding or are you using the latest version of Spriter? thanks. -Mike at BrashMonkey
TheLiquidToast
I am currently using the version of Spriter that was given through the "Don't Starve Mod Tools" file. I have tried reinstalling the mod tools and they still don't appear to be usable for SCML files.
Mike at BrashMonkey
Which scml file won't open? It might be using a feature that the old version of Spriter used in Don't Starve did not support.
TheLiquidToast
It was a SCML file that I was told to change the name to match the character name for the mod. It used to open properly but after I transferred the file to my secondary computer that I use to work projects with, it showed up as a file that only would open with Internet Explorer and coding programs. The SCML file nor the spriter version has been updated.
Mike at BrashMonkey
Have you tried loading it from Spriter instead of double clicking on it to load it? Have you tried right clicking on the scml file and choosing what the default program will be used to open scml files?
TheLiquidToast
I have not tried opening it from Spriter. I will try that if I can. I wanted to put Spriter as the default program, it shows up as a usable program but them moment I try to use it as a default program for SCML files, it doesn't show up. Okay, I got it to work with the suggestion. I'm still unsure why I couldn't use it as a default program. Thank you very much for your help. Have a good day sir!
