spellwing777 Posted November 17, 2025 Report Posted November 17, 2025 Hello there, I'm exploring spriter for some simple animations-I'm mostly familiar with krita but the redrawing every frame is...tedious, to say the least. I was looking at this software for the digital puppetry, but I can't see an option to import frames of video for reference, like the 'import video animation' feature in krita, which automatically splits up the video into frames and distributes them for you across the timeline. Is there a way to do that in spriter as well? Quote

This is the closest thing Spriter offers to what you're looking for: I recommend downloading and testing the free version of Spriter to make sure it will suit your needs. Quote
