joekinley
I have Spriter B11 (latest files downloaded today) and when I want to export an animated Gif it just crashes. This is the output: QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_setBoxToAnimationCancelled() QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_keyFrame_edittingFinished() QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 3 Qt has caught an exception thrown from an event handler. Throwing exceptions from an event handler is not supported in Qt. You must reimplement QApplication::notify() and catch all exceptions there. terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Magick::ErrorModule' what(): Spriter: UnableToLoadModule `/home/joekinley/Downloads/SpriterB11(64)/png.la': file not found @ error/module.c/OpenModule/1282 Aborted (core dumped) Traceycof, AlisaMesy, Dryynrins and 5 others
joekinley
Am I the only one having this problem? Any tips, Help, pointers?
lucid
Hello joekinley, can you please verify that png.la is in the directory? Also, I know it's unlikely, but recently a user had a similar issue, and this was the problem: If you extract the tar.gz on Windows it breaks the symbolic links. I won't be back until Monday, but I'll take a look when I get back if you're still having trouble. Also, what Linux distribution are you using? joekinley
Hi, thanks for the reply. The file png.la is in the directory, that's what's so weird about it. Also I downloaded and unpacked it all on linux. The distribution is Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty. 64 Bit edition, with Spriter B11 64 bit.
lucid
It's the Spriter Release 1 that looked like B11, right? I will look into this further for you. In the meantime, if anyone else is running on Linux 64 with the new version, please let me know if it's running correctly or not.

joekinley
Any news on this? I kinda need this for my process of getting feedback on my animation. At least it's very inconvenient if I don't have this feature.

joekinley
I hope we at least get some kind of feedback regarding this. Has this been reproduced yet, or are we alone? Is this going to be fixed, or postponed? Anything?
lucid
Sorry for the slow response. Yes, this will be fixed. Things are a bit hectic on several fronts, so my forums responses will be a bit scarce, and I don't want to give a time estimate just yet but I will make sure this gets resolved. I will respond back here when I have a new version for you to test.
