This is a repeat of something I had posted in the b10 bug thread, but it's kind of frustrating me, so I will post it again here.

Running Windows XP.

Holding down Right-Click on a selected bone brings up the anchor/inheritance menu, but I can't select any option, and spriter stops responding, until I hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE, then the window disappears and I can again use spriter.

EDIT:

Upon further investigation of this frustration it turns out, that while the anchor/inheritance window is opened, although it may SEEM like nothing is responding, in fact I was wrong.

If I click the anchor, spriter simply does not visually update the popup menu in any way, and does not allow the window to close either, giving the illusion that nothing happened, but when I CTRL-ALT-DELETE (which is still seemingly the only way I can successfully close the menu, the anchor point suddenly shows up, the window disappears, and the anchor then works as expected. Upod subsequently reopening the popup menu, now the graphics have changed to reflect the current state of the options selectable there, but again once I choose an option, I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE to 'wake up' spriter and continue.

So in conclusion, although for some reason I seem to be affected by a bug, it is more the graphical representation of the UI itself that is having an error, not the actual features.

Therefor, I suppose it is not a high priority to fix it, although it is still mildly puzzling.

Either way, again I would just like to say thanks to Mike and Edgar for starting this project, you have already managed to create a beautiful program, and I am sure things are only going to get better.

Identical to scarletfame above.

B11 won't load on Mac OS: 10.10. MacBook Air 6,2

B10 worked.

"Spriter can not be opened because of a problem"

In the Details pane of the message the following:

Clicking the middle mouse button on a Mac causes all sprite parts to become locked in place. Nothing can be dragged, scaled or rotated using the mouse. Spriter has to be restarted to make the sprite editable again.

Is this a bug or is it activating some feature that I can turn off?

I keep triggering this one because the middle mouse is used to drag the view around in other apps I use regularly.

I tested it on my end, but the middle mouse button scrolls the view correctly on my Mac. Which version of OSX are you using, and are you using any nonstandard input devices, drivers, or input tweaking apps.

OK, I figured out that it's the left and right click function of the middle mouse wheel.

If I'm really careful when I press the mouse wheel in, then yes, the cursor becomes a hand and I can drag the view around. If I move the wheel a little to the left or right and it "clicks" then the hand turns back to the regular cursor, dragging stops and the sprite components become locked.

I'm running mountain lion with a logitech M525 mouse.

Edit:

It's behaving as if the app is detecting the left or right click of the mouse button and dropping out of "view drag mode", but leaving mouse input disabled so that it can't interact with anything.

Hey,

It now works with Ubuntu x86_64 but the ALT key is always a problem. I had to go in ccsm (conmpiz config settings manager) and modify the move window key. (CTRL + ALT + click is safer than simple ALT + click)

The problem is that I'm not alone lol. You really should look for a way to make a fullscreen mode and add "change keys" options.

Thanks anyway, I love Spriter !

The two I've found are:

When I change the number of frames from low to high, I can't zoom out. I need to change animation and then back again for it to reset so I can see it all.

AND

I can't get rid of the onion skin effect. Whilst trying to zoom out or in, I right clicked and dragged. Now, I have a red figure behind mine all the time. I tried to ignore it, and got to the point where I wanted to export my animation to PNG, and for some reason the onion skin is exported along with it.

Can't imagine that being intentional by design. If it was, what's the reasoning?

Also, there is a problem with the Construct 2 login, it seems. This was reported about a week ago, but the thread was locked.

I still have the same Mac playback issues from b10. Frame rate is so slow it's unusable. Works silky smooth in b9 but have been unable to use any version since then. As a Pro user I find this quite disappointing.

I tried to launch Spriter B11 64bit and got an segmentation fault.

In the terminal it repeatedly prints:

QWidget::repaint: Recursive repaint detected

and in the end

[1] 18317 segmentation fault (core dumped)

Launching Spriter with gdb i get:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00007ffff3cad7e8 in QTextEngine::justify(QScriptLine const&) ()
from /usr/lib/libQtGui.so.4

OS is archlinux.

Looks like the error happened at least for one other user: https://www.scirra.com/forum/spriter-ea ... 3?#p851923

Is there a way to fix this issue?

Hi new to posting here but I decided I should post this since I finally fixed my problem in a way myself. I was having problems with certain animations not exporting to spritesheets and for some reason thought it could be something with OpenGl so I turned it off. Well...

after that Spriter b11 would not load it would pop up only to crash. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it did the same thing. To finally get it to open up I had to go into my registry and enable OpenGL back on that way and viola Spriter was running as it should. But if I turn OpenGl off Spriter b11 will not load. As for the spritesheet issue my only resolve is to do it as individual pngs. It just weird that I can get some animations out to spritesheets and others I can not. I am running the PRO Edition

I am using Win 8 64 bit.

AMD A10- 2.5ghz 8GB Ram
