Common Terry
Newbie to Spriter and love the tools you created for making animated game sprites. Trying to talk my team into using this program. But there is one feature that would really help us a lot. There may be a way to do this that I'm unaware of, but is it possible to load background art instead of just picking a color? I'm an AD on an isometric game and we need the guides of the diamond grid to help design basic walk animations at 3/4 view. Thanks! therevillsgames
Maybe add the background to the list of sprite images?
Common Terry
Thanks therevillsgames, I tried that with a 1024x 768 background of just the grid and in froze the program. My work around was to cut it way down to a much smaller segment and treat it like a sprite. That works.
Mike at BrashMonkey
The ability to load background images as guides and several other useful features of this type are planned for Spriter 1.0. cheers, Mike at BrashMonkey
