Switching body part into existing animation

Hi,

i wonder if it's possible to switch any part of a body with another, without having to change each keyframe into an existing animation.

For example you want to animate a guy in black and white, then in colour, how to do it easily without having to remake the whole animation (with each keyframes) ?

if it's not possible yet you should add it as a feature !

PS : maybe it's possible to add bones into an already made animation and to save the bone animation then just put the new images onto the bones ??

Hi HardcoreBadger,

There's a feature we've not yet had a chance to add called CharacterMaps...This will allow you to swap entire folders of images with alternate images within a game or in Spriter itself.. This is exactly for those instances wher eyou want to create alternate characters using the same animation data...this will also be perfect for games where the player character can get new clothes, equipment, weapons etc.

For now, if you're just exporting out PNG's o0f animations, you could simply copy your Spriter project, with all its image folders, then change all the images with the alternate art you want to create your alternate characters..

I hope this info helps.

cheers,
