marsha
Hello, through @ludumdare is stumbled across your Spriter project. It is a great project and I would like to use and support it. I am developing an engine called baukasten https://github.com/Agon/baukasten for 2D Go game developing. I would like to add Spriter format loading to the engine. Which brings me to my Spriter loader library, it can be found at https://github.com/Agon/spriter . Is it alright to continue developing/publishing the Go Spriter loader library and integrate it into my engine, which can be used for opensource and commercial projects? I didn't find any information regarding the licensing of the Spriter data format and what is allowed under which condition. If you don't want my Spriter loader library published, I can pull it down. Thanks in advance, Marcel
lucid
yes. that's fine. just please understand that the current format will be changed and expanded. but you're free to distribute your implementation however you see fit

marsha
Got it implemented into my engine. Basic features like rendering all images and animation looping is working. You can see a video over here: http://youtu.be/c13SRyBevvk (Youtube screwed the colors up) I hope it is alright to use the example image files, if not I will take the video down and create my own. I also would like to upload the example files to my github repository for a demo application and give proper credits, if it is alright. lucid
excellent work. thank you for helping get Spriter everywhere. it's fine to use the example file, and even distribute it with examples of your implementation if necessary
