Sprite disappears, still on stage but not visible and not linked to bone (even if is ok in hierarchy)

Hi there.
I made an animation in Spriter Pro (Steam, MacOS Mojave).
Everything runs fine, then I closed Spriter. When I've relaunched Spriter some hours later I found everythingin place but the head of the character.
The head image is ok in the asset panel and I can see the head sprite in the z-index panel and in the hierarchy panel.
But I can't see the head in the stage.

If I click on the head I can see the corners of the sprite but they are in the wrong position and with the wrong scale.

If I try to change the properties of the object, like X, Y and scale they suddenly changed to x:680000, y:680000 and scale: 0, making every other attempt to change them impossible.
Reloading the file I had the same issue again.
If I save the file after this problem I can see that x and y values are saved as NaN.

I have several backup files of the animation, but every file has the same issue.

So I tried to delete the head sprite and re-insert it in the project, but I was not able to reassign the head file to the correct bone.

I already tried to disable Open GL but without success. The issue is still here.
Now I have a decapitated character with a functional animation but I'm not able to re-insert the head.

What can I do?
Thanks for the support.

I'm not sure what caused the issue but it sounds like the best solution is to load the spriter file (the .scml or the .scon) in a text editor and find the frame with the issue and manually fix the X,Y and scale values.
If you'd like you can zip uo the entire project (the folder with the images and spriter file) and email it to mike@brashmonkey.com and I'll see if I can fix it for you.

sorry for the inconvenience.
