  1. (Since the search function didn't work for me I unfortunately had to create a new topic.) Hi Brashmonkey, I need urgent help with importing animations into Construct 3. Previously I had a workflow in Construct 2 that would just overwrite the same animation whenever re-imported. Now however, with Construct 3. It will create a duplicate entity every time I import an animation. This is catastrophic (no pun intended, my game is about a cat) xD, because I am completely stuck. I can't remove old entities every time I import. Because along with the animations also comes all the connected events. I made a quick video about it (without re-takes). I'm not a native speaker, but I think it's quite clear. I use the multiple sprite import approach in a new project. I also showcase my main project, which is very ambitious: http://pixelshade.se/forums/brashmonkey.mp4. I'm quite stuck currently since I can't continue with enemy design, without enemy design I can't really continue level design and I can't do cutscenes or update movement patterns... I have a demo that needs to be sent this year to a potential publishers and investors. Its quite urgent. I hope you guys could help me out. and of course anybody else having the same issues. Kind regards /Dennis - Pixel Shade
  2. Hey everyone! I want to start of by saying, thank you for an awesome tool. I started using Spriter a couple of weeks ago and it is already a permanent tool of my workflow. It's just that when I have used Spriter I have also realized that I have a problem with it, but it rarely happens. The problem is that whenever I have a spriter object come too close to the edge of my viewport in Construct 3 it suddenly dissapears. Why is this happening? It doesn't matter which edge it is, it's just that if I move a sprite (a moving character in the game) and it gets close to the edge it turns invisible and then turns visible as soon as I move back and I'm not as close to the edge. Is there some kind of setting which makes the spriter objects turn invisible when getting close to the edge to save size or something like that? I have checked through all different events and settings in both Spriter and Construct 3, but I can't find anything. I would be so happy if anyone could help me out! Cheers!
  3. It seems that when there are multiple instances of a Spriter object, the action "Set C2 to Spriter Object" get confused and attempts to attach to the Spriter object with the highest Instance ID (so if there is 2 Spriter objects, it will attach to Spriter with IID of 1. Meanwhile, if I set position using pointX/pointY or objectX/objectY, everything goes to the correct position, but it seems that all animation is about a single tick off. If this is a bug in the plugin, and not my own stupidity of missing something blatant, and I know that there hasn't been an update to the C3 addon in a while, is there any way you guy can release the source code for the plugin so that we can take a stab at fixing the bug? My sincerest appreciation for your time with this manner. I have attached a Construct 3 project file that I quickly threw together that recreates this issue. Spriter_Problem.c3p (Layout 1) --- EDIT: I believe a solution might have been found, please read my post below.
