  1. Hi, I'm afraid I just found a little bug, while exporting an animation, my mouse was on a bone and accidentally it appeared in some frames of my animation.
  2. Time 6:20. I can't find bone parentage option anywhere. Where is it?
  3. Hi, 2 years ago I discovered Spriter. Since then I did tons of animations and one of my favorites are the animations of my skeleton game assets. When you use Spriter the right way you can create animations like this Not all skeleton characters shown here but there are plenty more of them.. The whole package is available here: Graphicsriver here GameDev Market and here Itch.io or even here Scirra Store I have even updated the package to version 1.1 and added a run animation + white skin for each skeleton like this I am still planning to add more content like a musketeer, samurai skeleton etc and also more animations but lets see how this turns out. Although people who buy are really happy sales are actually not much promising. I don't know why Here a bonus: This was done per request. The task was to make a drunken skeleton animation. And when you weren't bored all the way and really reached bottom of my post you can actually DOWNLOAD A FREE SKELETON CHARACER WITH SPRITER FILE FOR FREE! Download Free Skeleton Character Enjoy
  4. Hello, I put a new element in my animation and want to bind it to the bone on every keyframe but it doesn't work. Here is my example video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YatSAA5Mhqk&feature=youtu.be
  5. Hello, Is it possible to keyframe related only to specific bones? For example, in the "Walk" animation I used to animate the legs first, where I have a lot of keys, and then the whole body, which is only 3 key frames. So if I can separate the "Body" from the rest of the frames?
  6. I am not sure whether or not there is a tutorial out there that can help me, but after some time searching online, I decided to ask for help from the forums. Basically, my bones do not act like I expect them to do. That is one case. In that instance, I wanted to scale down one of the bones and bring the child bones in a certain position. While that does happen, in between it does that unnecessary stretching before reaching it's final position. In another instance, I had IK locked a bone and tried to do an animation. Instead of staying relatively still, the bone got displaced considerably, only to do a loop and end up in the original position it had at the beginning of the animation. It happens all the time. Am I missing something? I tried looking up of any answers, but I didn't come up with much. Thank you for your time.
  7. Spriter 6.1, Win7x64 Why, when I copy a hierarchy Ctrl-dragging, does the copy (right) have reasonably sized bones, but the original (left) doesn't? These 1-pixel-wide-at-the-rotateable-part bones are a total pain to work with. Is there a way to set the bone width? Why did it come out different in the copy, anyway? I tried setting the scale x/y of the bone after selecting it, but this scales the sprite too, which is no good. Help?
  8. I know bones are created as a child, if I have a bone selected when creating the new one. I have also figured out that I can adjust the relationships by changing position in the Hierarchy panel. But is there a key/mouse combination to do this directly on stage? i.e. something like selecting one bone, then another while holding a modifier?
  9. Hi! I just bought the pro version and I'm strugling to make my first animation (even though it seemed so easy). The issue is that I have already set up all my sprites and each of the pivots, but when I assign the bones, the rotation of each sprites uses the bone starting point not the pivot of the sprite. What is the point in setting the sprite's pivot then? Also, is there a way to be more presise when adding bones? I found that holding B when creating a bone, not always makes a child of it and I have to set it manually. And if i try to create it just at the end of the las bone I created the mouse selectsthe previous bone. I hope you can help me. Thank you!
  10. Hi, I would like to know how i would go about rigging and animating this character because i keep getting line breaks. Maybe the character is drawn wrong for animation? I tried breaking it apart and i tried to keep the character parts together but no luck. Thank you to anyone that can help me with this problem.
  11. Is it possible? Manually selecting all bones and applying the desired Bezier curve is really a time consuming task. http://gyazo.com/b130c5ff80adc56827f0954957da6be3
  12. Is there a way to group segments of a sprite together like in a group or a layer? My first sprite has been put on the back burner for a while so i can play around with other ideas and now im getting a little antsy to mess with it again. I'm working on a spider and as of now I have four legs, I want four on the other side as well but getting everything lined up and animating them all gets a little confusing cause I tend to grab the wrong thing. Is there any way to lock all but what i want to work on and only work with the legs on the opposite side? my Z order is a little off in this picture but thats easily fixed.
