  1. Hi Everyone, I'm using Spriter Pro from Steam. I'm trying to apply a Character map but the graphics look wrong when I do It. This is the entity without char map: And If I apply the char map it looks this way: The image files from the char map are exactly the same but in color. I'm making a few test to see if I can implement this before the artist makes the final art. This is the file I'm using: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24695185/PumasSpriter.rar I'm pretty desperate because this is for a game that will be showed during the Pumas match this saturday. Thanks for your help!
  2. I am not sure whether or not there is a tutorial out there that can help me, but after some time searching online, I decided to ask for help from the forums. Basically, my bones do not act like I expect them to do. That is one case. In that instance, I wanted to scale down one of the bones and bring the child bones in a certain position. While that does happen, in between it does that unnecessary stretching before reaching it's final position. In another instance, I had IK locked a bone and tried to do an animation. Instead of staying relatively still, the bone got displaced considerably, only to do a loop and end up in the original position it had at the beginning of the animation. It happens all the time. Am I missing something? I tried looking up of any answers, but I didn't come up with much. Thank you for your time.
  3. Hello, Is it possible to keyframe related only to specific bones? For example, in the "Walk" animation I used to animate the legs first, where I have a lot of keys, and then the whole body, which is only 3 key frames. So if I can separate the "Body" from the rest of the frames?
  4. What I am using: Spriter Pro Unity2Spriter Plugin Unity 5 Steps to replicate The Problem: play Unity Game play animation 1 before animation 1 is completed, play animation 2 using the same exported spriter Game Object the next time you play animation 1, it will transit into a wrong position and rotation on the last frame Additional Info: the wrong position and rotation is relative to when you interrupt animation 1 To illustrate the glitch better, this is a workaround I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/Unity2D/comments/46q08c/spriter_pro_animations_glitch/ The workaround suggested by Alparra works. However, it is quite tedious to execute, and the worst part is, each time you have an update for the sprite gameObject, you have to go through the stops for individual bone all over again. Do let me know the proper solution to the glitch. Thanks.

    Buck

Here is my first animation for a game in development. His name is Buck and he is thirsty for blood and revenge. Please, any feedback are welcome.
  6. As well as pre-production services, GameYan Studios also offers a wide variety of Pre-production services. Developing ideas and planning prior to the process of production. In a live action movie sense it is the period before filming starts. Story and Character Animation Development Storyboards and Concepts Editing and Sound FX Motion Tracking and Compositing
  7. Several times now after finishing an animation and exporting the sprites, when I return to them a few days later they have been damaged and mixed up. For example I have a character with an attack, run, and a death animation (see attached image). Then when I came back to it today all the keyframes in the run animation had disappeared and blood from the death animation appeared in the run animation even though it wasn't there in the first place. Is this to do with how I organise the folder or something?
  8. After watching some tutorials and not finding the answer in the software manual, I decided to create this topic. So, How do I distort an Image to create a flowing animation? I mean, is that possible on Spriter or should I Distort my image in an image editing software and then use it as a new image/part in my animation? I want to create a flowing-hair animation. I already separated/cut all parts I want to animate and unfortunately using the scale/rotate isn't enough for what I want to do. It's basically something like this(sorry if the images are too confusing): http://postimg.org/image/bqw2f3nbn/ http://postimg.org/image/4oy4swjpv/ Well, like I said before, it is basically a flowing-hair animation of a breathing/standing character. I want to distort the separeted meshes without having to create more(I guess that even if I doubled the amount I would have to create more for a middle-transition, right?). Thank you anyway.
  9. Hello there. First of all, I want to point out that I am a total newbie when it comes to animation and as the title itself says, my question is probably really stupid for some of you guys. Anyway, I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how to do it(How to export my animation as a looping .GIF?).
  10. Need an artist to create a character with various animations. contact me at mcstradale1@gmail.com to discuss pay and what i need. thank you!

  22. If there already is a way to do this, awesome please share, and if not; I would like this to be added in the future for work-flow purposes. Can your animation of bones and objects only show selected keys? I have a lot of overlapping keys because I cannot select certain objects only. I am mainly a 3d animator that works in maya, but... being able to do each component, and isolate that key would be great. As well, right clicking the time-line options for copying and pasting frames, and double-clicking the time-line to select all frames. I want to move all the frames sometimes. In Maya they have the DOP sheet. In flash they have click-drag-selection. I couldn't find either working in spriter. If these exist, awesome. If not, these would be great. There's a lot more i'd like to see in this program, but these are the most important to me right now for work. -Thanks

  25. Hi Is that possible to import animated sprite - for example Snes sprite converted to animated gif, and then use it as a background-reference for creating animation skeleton, referring to half-transparent animated gif in the background? If no, what is the other way to use references?
