  1. :) don't worry, we all do funny work when tired lol I work on a Windows 7 professional version. It's a non-steam version of spriter (4.1) and I saved it on the default location (C:\Program Files (x86). I also won't open if I try 'Run as administrator'. Is that of any help? I was hoping with the installation of the new update this would stop happening in case the previous version wasn't installed properly, but nothing :( Thanks for the help
  2. I did mention opening the task manager (on Windows) and ending the process there. It still doesnt help.
  3. Hi. I've been having this problem since the previous update and the current one (Spriter_r4_1). I can open and work normally with it, but if I close it, or crashes, or change project, then I can't open the software again. For it to re open I have to restart the computer and I find very unpractical. On Windows task manager the process appears (more than once if I try to open it multiple times) but even ending the process (or process tree) I still can't open it. Am I doing something wrong?
  4. Thanks @Stiffingers! for the quick reply oh I know I can animate them individually without key framing everything else, but it would affect the rest of the transitions that I already have (specially when I have a custom curve for the animation). because I want a constant change in the sprites of these animations (fire or blood) I don't want that to affect the already excising and time animation. (not sure if I'm making myself understand)
  5. Hi. Haven't been using spriter for long, but I have done similar types of animation in after effects. I'm looking to see if I can make secondary animations separately from the main animation (mainly thinking about replacing sprites). For example, I'm working on a character that will have multiple characters maps as customization features, but some of these I'd like to animate them (such as flames and capes). I tried swapping the sprites every now and then, but that pretty much destroy my work on the excising main animation. Is there a way to layer them, work on different timelines, or at least an individual key frame that doesn't affect the the rest of the parts? Any help is appreciated it :D thanks
