  1. Really the only published game I've got where I've used Spriter: MURICA EAGLE!: We threw a game together in a few hours to show all these flappy bird clones how easy the games were to make. It was basically a giant middle finger to them. We made a few tweaks and to our shock and awe.... we realized we made a really fun game. Even I'm addicted to it. And, I think these type of games usually suck. Controls much better, and nowhere near as frustrating. I used Spriter for The "Super Eagle" power-up lets you blast through pillars. It was such a simple task to animate the wings in Spriter. Make the wing, move it up and down in spriter. As you can see, we're not taking ourselves too seriously with it. We decided if it got more downloads we'd add a lot more to the game. So, as a fan of the game myself, I'd really like to do this. Show all these clone developers what you can do with just a little innovation. 2. Do you reply to every post or what? Half the posts I see here are yours. Just because you wouldn't want something like that doesn't mean others wouldn't . It depends on the game, artist, situation, etc.
  3. First off, the latest version has some of the features I requested (not too long ago!) So thanks so much! You guys are blowing my mind. I came across this: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fin ... for-2d-art Wow. Very cool. Any chance we could get something like this for Spriter? Looks like an incredible amount of work (for individual animation). They mention support for Spine, but nothing on Spriter. Perhaps contacting him, and trying to work with him to support Spriter too? Or, you could do this yourself. Now, normally, I'd say that would be too much for you, but given every update I've seen, I can't count that out. Would be amazing to see.
  4. I was curious. Didn't mean to upset anybody, or cause a flame war. I was genuinely curious.
  5. LOL! You just cracked up everybody in my office here. Link? Stickman brings up lots of results.... I must say, this looks awesome. Would love to see this feature too. Spine is starting another Kickstarter to get this feature. I prefer Spriter, so I'd love to see a match for this. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/eso ... e-features
  6. I'd like a feature of being able to play a sound file, that I can sync the animation to. It would allow us to sync up explosions, sound effects, and dialog. One thing missing from these kind of animation tools is voice tools. I can create the mouth movements, but it's difficult to sync the movements to the sound. I've tried apps like Crazytalk, but it doesn't give me control of other parts of the animation. With just a few tweaks, this app could do it. Ideally, when I hit "Play" it should play the sound, and my animation at the same time. It doesn't even have to be included with the XML file as long as I know when to start the sound. It would also be a nice feature for you guys to encourage people to upgrade to the Pro edition :)
